We are so thankful to our donors and volunteers who helped us make the wishes of our families come true. Our Hope for the Holidays event, hosted at beautifully decorated Northwoods City Hall (Thank you, Mayor Sharon Pace!), was an afternoon full of good cheer. In addition to the giveaway, this year we were able to celebrate with food, conversation, door prizes and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus! We are excited to turn our attention to expanding our mission in 2024.

Our First Back-to-School Supplies Delivered!
In our first Back-to-School event, The Mission Attempt delivered donated school supplies to Lemasters Elementary School in the Riverview Gardens School District on August 24. Donations included 35 backpacks filled with supplies, winter coats, socks, snack packs and periodsupplies and dental kits, courtesy of the National Council of Jewish Women, children’s books via the Life Foundation, and binders and other supplies from donors. Principal Dr. Travis Brown and his staff were excited to recieve the donations, and they will arrange to distribute to students who need them.
Jolly July Gala a Success!
We are thrilled to report that our gala on July 22 was a huge success. We celebrated local business and hometown heroes. We dined on delicious food. And we came together to commit to helping make our community a better place. We are so close to reaching our goal of $20,000. Won’t you keep the celebration going by donating today?
